Mandela Bay will have 90 more budget hotel rooms available for next year’s soccer World Cup, a major hotel group said.

City Lodge Hotels said a R34-million Port Elizabeth Airport one-star Road Lodge hotel – on which work has just started – would be finished in time for the event.

It would provide 90 rooms – each with private bathrooms and able to sleep up to three guests.
