The R250 million world class Execujet Business Centre development, sited on the fringe of the Cape Town International Airport, has now been completed for tenant handover

Despite the tough economic climate, there seems to be no shortage of prospective tenants to fill the remainder of the AAA-Grade office space.

This is according to Morgan Morris, who is handling the sales and marketing of the Execujet Business Centre, on behalf of the company which developed this building.  It forms part of a full aviation centre intended to attract high-end business clients, celebrities and politicians who need a landside facility which offers full security, privacy and pristine surroundings.

The building is decidedly upmarket with marble tiling throughout.  It has a large central oval atrium with a garden feature and a koi pond that runs along the entire perimeter of the garden.  The extensive glazing above the atrium fills this area with natural light, providing a peaceful area in which to take a break, said Morris.  The building includes basement parking for all tenants.

The windows of the offices facing the runway have double glazing which regulates the audio and thermal environment and also saves energy by insulating the building more efficiently.  All the offices are fully air-conditioned.

Security is of utmost importance here, access to the offices is via a Biometric fingerprint scanner, the front desk is manned round the clock and there is also perimeter security 24/7.

Morgan Morris says that the developers have targeted a diverse profile mix of tenants including executive aviation, charter, car rental and travel related industries.  Also included is an upmarket coffee shop/restaurant, import and export company and two renewable energy companies.

The Execujet private jet and helicopter hangars, which are alongside the Business Centre allow for easy disembarking and direct access into fully air-conditioned lounges.  In this section of the centre are breakaway rooms for meetings, conference facilities, work islands, all fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and wired for full internet and telephone connectivity.  These facilities are strictly for the use of Execujet Business Centre clients, who can continue working, without interruption and knowing that all their needs will be taken care of, said Morris.

The construction company responsible for the project was CSV Construction.  The offices came on stream and the centre was fully operational from 13th September.
