Located on the scenic East Coast, the five-star Hoekwil Boutique Hotel, near Wilderness, has been newly renovated. The hotel was designed to complement its spectacular surroundings, and this elegant piece of real estate is set on 5.8ha of rare indigenous forest, bordering the Eden to Addo nature reserve.
The 1741m² tiled-roof building is surrounded by an additional 741m² of imported balou decking.
The hotel comprises a main entrance, reception, lounge hall, offices, dining room, bar and smoking lounge with additional store rooms for the bar, ladies and gents’ guest toilets, an additional lounge, kitchen with pantry and washrooms, servants’ quarters, linen room and double garage.
The hotel has eight exclusive luxury suites, ranging in size from 110m² to 220m², as well as a stylish double suite with its own private entertainment and bar area.
All suites are carpeted with top-of-the-range luxury carpeting, and special underfelt creates a warm and luxurious feel.
High-quality air conditioners are used throughout the facility. All suites lead out to balconies to ensure that guests can view the wonderful scenery.
For more luxury, an indoor heated swimming pool, with ladies and gents’ shower and toilet facilities, is next to the main swimming pool, which overlooks the surrounding forest.
Landscaped gardens with outdoor lighting fully complement the surroundings as guests are invited to stroll among the boardwalks leading into the forest and down to a dam to watch the bird life.
“This private, secluded, sundrenched paradise must be seen to be fully appreciated,” said Elias Tzouvanni, of Alliance Group
Alliance Group will sell the hotel at an auction in the One & Only Hotel, V&A Waterfront, on August 5 at noon.
