Friday the 3rd of April 2009 saw the launch of the Wolverhampton’s, an industrial development in Benoni brought to market by the Rees Development Organization.

Attending the launch was the Mayor of Ekurhuleni, Councilor Ntombi Mekgwe and Chairperson for Economic Development Councilor Mahlangu, both of which facilitated the event with a ceremonial ribbon cutting.

Property broker, Manny Cachucho, from Closeprops, who’s Company is responsible for the marketing of the project, is extremely excited about the development. “We have not had any “A GRADE” brand new MINI FACTORY space available TO LET in Apex for some time. This is an ambitious venture; a major boost for the Commercial & Industrial Property Market in Apex and Benoni in general. It is about new business coming to our City, about job creation and growing our Industry. Our first tenant was placed today.”

Quan Rees, a director of the Rees Development Organization said that they had hoped to  set the precedent  for future investment in the area, and while there are some attractive buildings in the area, none of them met the high quality standards of The Wolverhampton’s. Quan continued to say that the development would provide much needed rental information for the area and he hopes that this will stimulate future investment in the area, all in aid of attracting and retaining good quality businesses to the Benoni District.

The Mayor, after cutting the ribbon, stated that she is please to see an investment of this nature in the area and hopes to see more in the future.
