SA Listed Property Sector Overview - Catalyst December 2008

The SA Listed Property Index (J253) recorded a total return of 10.70% in November 2008. The Property Loan Stock Index (J256) and Property Unit Trust Index (J255) recorded returns of 11.31% and 8.83% respectively over the same period

The performance of the SA listed property sector was supported by the capital markets with the yield to maturity on the R157 ending the month at 8.29% (79bps firmer than at the end of October 2008). The SA listed property index has recorded a negative total return of 8.91% for the year to date...
