“The support we’ve had from international speakers is fantastic”, says GBCSA CEO Nicola Douglas, “we invited some of the world’s top experts in the different fields we want to cover, and nearly all of them accepted”.
The latest addition to the programme is Don Winston from the Durst Organisation, developers of the Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park, one of the USA’s greenest high-rise office towers currently under construction, who will be presenting a case study on the project.
He joins the likes of Rick Fedrizzi, President of the US Green Building Council, Che Wall, one of the world’s leading engineering consultants, plus a host of others. The conference will cover green building from the concept to the detail, including costs, products, benefits, case studies, and technical detail from local and overseas projects”, says Douglas.
Alongside the conference is an exhibition with 70 exhibitors demonstrating products in the green building field. The conference is being held at the CTICC from 2 -4 November, starting with a cocktail party and the exhibition opening on Sunday night. “The exhibition will be open to the public on Tuesday 4 November from 14h00 to 17h00, and will be well worth a visit for property industry players”, says Douglas.
