The Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA) celebrated another milestone in the movement to a greener built environment with the recent Green Star SA Interiors certification of Standard Bank’s newly-refurbished 3 Simmonds Street office in Johannesburg.

The latest green building rating tool launched by the Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA), the Green Star SA - Public & Education Building (version 1) Rating Tool, was first put through its paces in an extensive pilot project carried out on a number of public buildings in South Africa and is now freely available in digital format.
